
Craig A. Kasper, Au.D. is the Chief Audiology Officer for Audio Help Associates, a multi-site audiology and hearing healthcare practice based in the New York Metropolitan area.
Dr. Kasper was previously the Director of Audiology for the New York Otolaryngology Group and was Co-Director of the New York Tinnitus Center. He completed his Doctorate of Audiology at the University of Florida and earned his Master's degree with clinical honors from the State University of New York at Buffalo where he was involved in basic research. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and is Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology. Dr. Kasper is also a member of the National Hearing Conservation Association and the National Association of Medical Communicators.
Dr. Kasper completed his Clinical Fellowship and served as a clinician in the Department of Otolaryngology / Head & Neck Surgery at New York-Presbyterian Medical Center. While he was there he founded the Columbia University Center for Hearing Conservation, one of the first preventive hearing health and wellness programs designed for performing artists. Prevention continues to be a focus of his practice. As a result, he is recognized in the music and entertainment industries as a preferred hearing healthcare provider for many touring professionals and media personalities.
He has contributed to scholarly articles that have been published in peer-reviewed journals, including Hearing Research and Laryngoscope. In addition to his professional publication history, Dr. Kasper writes informative and educational health/ scientific articles for the general public. Dr. Kasper is the author of "The Simple Guide To Optimum Hearing Health For The mp3 Generation".
Dr. Kasper’s experience has made him a resource for the media. He has appeared in print, on local and nationwide television, and on the internet discussing topics related to hearing health and wellness. In October 2006 he was appointed the clinical spokesperson for Hear The World, a non-profit initiative spearheaded by Phonak, Placido Domingo and the Vienna Philharmonic. In 2007, Dr. Kasper was appointed to an educational and fundraising committee for the American Tinnitus Association and the Editorial Advisory Board for the professional publication "Advance for Audiologists".
